Lust Have It – July 2014 – Review + GIVEAWAY

The July Lust Have It Box (or now, bag!) arrived at my doorstep today so I thought I’d share with you the contents of the box for this month. When reviewing last month’s box, I stated that I hoped this month’s box would be more impressive than the last and I think it definitely is an improvement!
For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED1’ you can receive $5 off your first box!
Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow. RRP: $24.95 for 1.2g. Received FULL SIZE.
I received the eye shadow in the shade Rich List which is a beautiful shimmery gold shade. Over the last few months, I’ve tried quite a few mineral makeup products and I’m really impressed by them! I was never a fan of loose makeup but I am now coming around to it!
Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover. RRP: $22.00 for 100ml. Received FULL SIZE.
I’ve only been able to experience the Mary Kay brand through boxes like Lust Have It and this is a product I’ve yet to try so I really appreciate the full size bottle of this as their other products are really nice. I wear eye makeup nearly every day so I’m always going through eye makeup remover and this one is said to gently remove all eye makeup including waterproof mascara. What’s interesting is that its an oil free formula but looks as though it does contain oil in the bottle as there are 2 layers!
Ardell Self Adhesive Lashes. RRP: 9.99 for 1 pair. Received FULL SIZE.
Ardell has to be one of my favourite false lash brands because the quality is so high. This month, there were a range of self-adhesive lashes included in the box and I received the 109S lashes. I think these would be great for a natural look because they’re simple in design and not too long. The lashes also come with an extra adhesive band in the box.
Designer Brands Nail Polish. RRP: $6.99 for 12ml. Received FULL SIZE.
I‘ve never tried any products from the DB brand and as a lover of nail polish, I look forward to seeing how their nail polishes wear. I received the shade 218 Gun Metal which is a black nail polish with tiny silver shimmer throughout. It’s a really gorgeous shade.
Aveda Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion. RRP: $79.99 for 150ml. Received 7ml sample.
Each person would’ve received a sample of this product for the gel cleanser in their box this month. This has been included in a number of boxes over the past year and I have to admit, I haven’t used them but I will be trying to cull my ‘samples draw’ stash very soon so this will be given a go.
Overall, I think this month’s box is a definite improvement from the June box. I really love that there were 4 substantially sized full size items included and that all included look like quality products. It’s a nice box though it isn’t the best box that Lust Have It has put out. Next month is actually Lust Have It’s Birthday Box so I have high hopes and hopefully the boxes continue to be better and better!

Hi! 🙂 I’ve never used any of these products before, but I think I’d love the Ardell lashes the most. I love wearing falsies, but I normally have to spend quite a bit of time getting the right amount of glue onto the bands and waiting for it to become tacky before applying, otherwise it is a right mess! It would be interesting to see how well these self adhesive lashes work.

Looks like a pretty good box, so nice of them and you to give it away! I especially like the sound of that mineral eyeshadow, I’m a sucker for anything thats shimmery! haha 🙂

I’ve had a sample of that Mary Kay eye makeup remover and really liked it. It’s one of the few that don’t make my eyes sting like crazy!

My fave is the Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover, it’s great that it’s a full size product. I like that it gently removes all eye make-up including waterproof mascara, sounds like the perfect product for me!

This box seemed pretty good, quite a few full sized products! I think I’d be most excited about the eye shadow, but also the lashes look really lovely!

I would love to try the Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover as i’ve been on the hunt for a new makeup remover which doesn’t irritate my skin! The other products also look very interesting!

The Mary Kay Make Up Remover. Because being oil free, it is guranteed to not leave behind any residue around the eyes afterwards. More importantly Mary Kay do not test their ingredients or products on animals, which makes it even more attractive to use. I have never heard of Lust Have It so would love to give it a try! x K

I’ve seen Lust Have It around, but haven’t been super impressed with reviews up until now. (Might swap out my BB for a try). The mineral eyeshadow sounds like something I need to try. Good colour for me too!

It’s what a subscription box should be, a mix of good brands and brands I haven’t tried before. I haven’t heard of marsk before I’m very interested to try it. So far all the Mary Kay products I’ve used far have been great so I’m keen to try their makeup remover. Good box overall.

LHI has done well, looks like a great range and good value too! I like the idea of trying products I wouldn’t normally risk buying, like false lashes and loose mineral eyeshadow – the product I’d most like to try is the Marsk eyeshadow, I can’t resist gold!

Is it wrong to say the bag would be what I’d like most? Lashes and cleanser are great, as is eye shadow and the like, but my last work makeup bag just died!!!!

The Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow sounds awesome! I’ve been interested in trying out mineral makeup for a while now, and the gold shade just sounds divine. I also think that because it’s loose, the colour will be even more stunning

I haven’t tried any of the products from the box but I’m really curious with the Ardell Lashes. I haven’t used false eyelashes before and seeing that it’s self adhesive, this will be my first purchase when I finally decide to give my lashes an extra flutter! 🙂

I’ve tried a couple of different loose shimmer eye shadows and find them to wear really nicely on the lid, they stay out really well and really make the eyes pop! I love the sound of this mineral one a lot! 🙂

Hi, I’ve never used any of these products before but the mary kay makeup remover mask has been raved about on so many youtube channels and over so many reviews, I think that would be the one I’m most interested in 🙂
