Lust Have It – October 2014 – Review

Hi everyone,

I picked up my October Lust Have It from the Post Office today and was very excited to find some amazing inclusions for the month of October. I think this has to be one of the best LHI’s boxes I’ve received so it’s really unfortunate that they were delayed in sending them out and it is now November because I think everyone would be happy to receive such a great box with no complaints had it arrived on time. Fingers crossed that for the November box arrives on schedule!

For those of you unfamiliar with Lust Have It, Lust Have It is a monthly beauty subscription box with the inclusion of 5-6 deluxe sized beauty items, priced at only $19.95 a month but if you use the code ‘TRIED1’ you can receive $5 off your first box!

Now onto the contents has that got me smiling!

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa Mask. RRP: $4.99. Received FULL SIZE.

This is a sheet mask that is made up of clay infused 100% natural bamboo fabric which is quite interesting! I’ve never tried a sheet mask from the brand before and this one contains real clay, artic cloudberry and red grape.

Colour by TBN Lipstick. RRP: $3.50. Received FULL SIZE.

Unfortunately I received this in a shade that I don’t think will suit me but I will give this a go as I remember reading a review that said the formula was very lovely and the quality was up there for such an affordable price! The packaging is very reminiscent of the Revlon lip butters.

Glamourflage Awesome Eva Eye Mask. RRP: $7.95. Received FULL SIZE.

I’m not an eye mask person at night but I think they’re great to use when you’re sleeping during the day like taking a nap or resting if you aren’t feeling too well because they really help to block out any light that peeps through blinds and curtains to ensure you can get the best rest possible.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. RRP: 24.95 for 50ml. Received 10ml sample.

I’ve only ever heard and read rave reviews for this oil so I cannot wait to try it for myself. This is a ‘multi-purpose dry oil that nourishes, repairs, softens skin and reduces stretch marks.

So Susan Intense Eye Shadow Palette with Coated Pigments. RRP: $35.00. Received FULL SIZE.

So Susan isn’t a brand I’m, very familiar with, only receiving their products from subscription boxes so I’m always open to trying new brands and products. The dark purple and grey shades located on the bottom row look very lovely and I like that this palette can be used to create a full smokey eye or something lighter for daytime.

Inika Black Kohl Pencil with Sharpener. RRP: $29.00. Received FULL SIZE.

I’ve tried a couple of Inika products in the past and really loved them and black eyeliner is such a staple in my eye makeup routine so I’m excited to see how this will compare to my favourite kohl eyeliners. The addition of the sharpener lid makes it so much easier to use.

I think LHI have really stepped up with the October box. I think the contents is very impressive and in my opinion, is one of the best boxes I’ve received from them. The range of brands is fabulous – some well known, old favourites and new brands to try and I like that there is variation between the different types of products. With 5 of the 6 products in this box being full size and being such quality, I’m definitely very happy with the box! I hope this standard continues onto the November box.

Are you as impressed with this box as I am?
