Here’s to 2015 & Exciting Things To Come!

Hi everyone,

First off, a very happy New Year and I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2015.

I also wanted to thank you for all the love and support you’ve given to the blog in 2014. I’ve reached some amazing milestones within the last year which has been amazing and I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful brands, PR companies and bloggers as well as having the pleasure to interact with you all. Every visit to the blog, every like and comment on a post really does mean a lot and the blog has grown more than I could’ve ever imagined so thank you for helping make that happen!

Over the past couple of months, I’ve been working hard BTS to organise and plan some exciting new things for the blog during 2015.

The biggest being that I’ll now be posting every weekday, so that means a new post from Monday to Friday! I’m excited to share new content more frequently and I’ll be expanding the scope of content to lifestyle and fashion but of course, this blog will always be predominately dedicated to my love of beauty.

Beginning tomorrow, each Friday on the blog will feature a short Q&A post with another Australian beauty blogger so that you’ll get to know them and their blog better, as well as getting a few tips and tricks about blogging from them as well. I’ve seen some really nasty things said and done by beauty bloggers to fellow beauty bloggers due to some people thinking that it’s some sort of competition and as cheesy as it sounds, there really is room for everyone and there is never a need to put anyone else down so I hope this series on the blog will inspire people to support one another and get to know each other.

Those are just some of the new and exciting things to come for the blog and I cant wait to share everything else with you too.

As it is the New Year, many of you are probably trying to come up with some resolutions to try and stick to during 2015. I’ve never been much for resolutions but I spotted this Instagram post from Collective Hub and this goal is definitely one I’m aiming for in 2015 and something everyone should remember to be…happy.

Always choose happiness #collectivehub

  1. I’m looking forward to all the new posts this year 🙂

It’s so interesting what you said about bloggers. Here in Adelaide we have a wonderful community that’s so encouraging of each other. It’s a shame it’s not like that everywhere 😦

  2. Looking forward to reading the new content you have in store! I’m still quite new to the blogging world but I’ve been happy not to witness any bitchiness yet. In fact, everyone has been really nice and welcoming!

  3. Happy New Year beautiful! I can’t wait to read the new series you have planned. I completely agree, I feel like a lot of bloggers can be so nasty and turn to bullying to try and get ahead. There is definitely room for everyone here 🙂

  4. Happy New Year to you babe – my very best wishes for a safe, happy, healthy and successful 2015 ♥ I agree, there’s room for everyone in the blogging world, and how exciting that you’ll be posting daily – what a treat!

  5. All the very best with all your plans for 2015. I cant wait to see all your new posts, and also follow your new Blogger Q&A, great idea. (if you’re still looking for more bloggers to feature, I’d love to participate at some stage??). And I do agree with you, there is a lot of bitchiness around, including jealousy which I think sadly leads to nasty comments. As you say, very sad as there is room for everyone. xx

    • Thank you Karina, you too! Would love to have you on board, just send me an email! I know, especially since we all share the same interests and passion. I guess there always will be those types of people in the world! xxx
