Taking A Look At: AVEENO’s Positively Radiant Product Range

Hi everyone,

Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the AVEENO Positively Radiant range which features the patented Total Soy Complex.

Developed by AVEENO® scientists after they noticed the smooth and even-toned hands of the workers in Asian soybean factories, Total Soy Complex requires the soybean to be specially processed to retain its integrity in a form that can produce benefits to the skin.

AVEENO Positively Radiant cleanser intensive night cream skin brightening daily scrub daily moisturiser

Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF 15
This product was one that I used throughout high school so I was excited to give it a go again. Luckily, the formula is just as great as I remember it to be! The oil free formula is light and creamy and for my normal – dry skin, it doesn’t leave my face looking or feeling greasy at all as it sinks into the skin almost immediately! With a lovely fresh scent, it provides great hydration for the daytime and I love the added benefit of an SPF of 15. The moisturiser contains light diffusers (which are very subtle) that give a lovely radiant glow, leaving your face looking more awake.

Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream
This oil free night cream is one of my favourites of the bunch! It has a lighter texture for a night cream but it really delivers on the hydration front. A little goes a long way with this product as it glides onto the skin so easily and is absorbed into the skin soon after, leaving no greasy or tacky feeling at all. Instantly you can see and feel your skin plump up thanks to the hydrating properties of this product. Once you wake up, you’re greeted with smooth, soft skin that leaves your face looking bright (as if you’d had the best night’s rest).
Positively Radiant Cleanser
With a pump for easy use, this cleanser comes in a clear form with some iridescence to it! With a fresh scent just like the other products in this range, this cleanser is soap free and hypoallergenic, making it perfect for regular use as it’s gentle on the skin and whilst it does a lovely job at cleansing the face from all the dirt and grime from the day, it never strips the skin which some cleansers can do, leading to an uncomfortable squeaky clean feeling. The cleanser leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh after each use.

Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub
With micro beads aimed to improve skin tone and texture, this scrub is gentle on the skin and doesn’t feel too rough or gritty, making it appropriate for daily use. It’s non irritating formula works well to exfoliate and cleanse the skin at the same time and doesn’t dry out the skin at all. I found it worked very well at leaving my skin looking and feeling bright and smooth as well as tackling the appearance of blackheads. It’s one of the only scrubs that’s both gentle for daily use whilst still being effective at targeting problem areas.

In combination, all the products work so well together and actually leave your skin looking bright, radiant and clear. Skin never looks dull or dehydrated with these products and whilst all the products in the range feel light on the skin, they really deliver in terms of hydration and improving your skin’s overall appearance. Having normal – dry skin, some products have the tendency to leave my skin looking dull and one dimensional but with the Positively Radiant range, my skin naturally looks fresh and awake as it has cleared up my complexion! I’m very impressed with this range from AVEENO after weeks of testing it out!
