Sisley Paris Phyto 4 Ombres – Review
As a neutral eyeshadow lover, I completely fell in love with this Sisley eyeshadow quad when I first laid eyes on it! Being the first product from the brand I’d ever tried, I had high hopes for the Sisley Paris Phyto 4 Ombres in ‘Dream’ and it did not disappoint!
Housed in a gorgeous black and white magnetised case with a large mirror, the iconic Sisley ‘S’ shape is made up of 4 different natural and neutral eyeshadow shades:
1 • Silk rose – a delicate and iridescent pink
2 • Velvet brown – a sparkling chocolate brown
3 • Satin copper – a golden brown with intense reflections
4 • Pearl beige – a frosty and hypnotic pale beige
Formulated with ”cutting-edge make-up technology that blends (microsized) pigments and light to form an ethereal texture”, the eyeshadows are buttery smooth and very pigmented, giving off rich colour.
The shadows pick up well with a brush or your finger and there is barely any fallout, even with the darker shades and the texture allows each of the shadows to blend seamlessly into one another. With a unique gel-powder texture, the shadows give off an amazing, almost wet look while they are in fact, a powder shadow thanks to the mother of pearl incorporated into the formula!
The Sisley Paris Phyto 4 Ombres is also available in ‘Mystery’ which features dark smokey shades.
The shadows last on the eye all day when used over a primer (which I do as I have quite oily eyelids) and I really believe Sisley Paris have achieved their goal of producing eyeshadows that capture the light as they look gorgeous in daylight or at night. I love the combination of shades in this palette from the highlighting, softer shades to give the eyes a brighter and more awake appearance to the rich browns which work so well for all eye colours.
The Sisley Paris Phyto 4 Ombres in ‘Dream’ is a versatile palette as you can create day looks, night looks and everything in between. If you love neutral toned eyeshadows and are looking for a quality, all in one palette to create a range of looks with, I highly recommend heading into store and trying it for yourself.
The Sisley Paris Phyto 4 Ombres palettes in Dream and Mystery retail for $110 and are available from Sisley Counters and David Jones.
