Going Nude & Neutral With Your Nails

Hi everyone,

One of my favourite nail polish looks has to be the nude and neutrals as I find them easy to wear as they’ll match any outfit, is appropriate for everyday wear for work or school and is just simple and sophisticated!

A great affordable pick is Angelic* from Boe Professional at $4.95. The formula is quite sheer so if you want an opaque look, you do need to build it up with layers but the wide brush makes application quick and easy. The Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Creme de la Creme* is the #1 U.S best selling shade and is new to Australia. It’s a gorgeous soft pink and for $16.95, is a great addition to a nail polish collection as the formula is fantastic (previously reviewed here). I’ve also included the shade Birthday Suit in this post.

At $6.95, Always Naked by Covergirl is a lovely beige grey shade I’ve been wearing for years as it’s long lasting on the nail and has a great formula. Part of the new Hawaii Collection by O.P.I, Do You Take Lei Away?* is a definite new favourite out of my whole nail polish collection and worth the $19.95 price tag thanks to its creamy and opaque formula. Although not a tradional nude shade, I had to include Maybelline’s Rose Poudré as you can wear it sheer or opaque for a beautiful rosy pink shade and at $7.95, the formula is amazing and lasting without chipping for 7 days.

Take a look at my Instagram snaps below for all these shades in action!

This week's nails – @mnyau's Super Stay 7 Days Gel Nail Colour in Rose Poudré! Loving this shade and the glossy gel finish!
