Vaseline Intensive Care Spray (& Go) Body Moisturiser Range – Review

I was introduced to the Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser range, known as the Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturisers overseas whilst at a beautyheaven event earlier this year. At the event, there were 2 representatives from the brand who educated us both on the history of the Vaseline brand as well as this (at the time) new body moisturisers from the brand.

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer is a quick-absorbing and convenient spray lotion. Our continuous spray is designed for easy application and even all-over coverage. The unique formula is infused with micro-droplets of Vaseline® Jelly and leaves skin soft, not greasy or sticky. Use immediately post shower or any time your skin feels dry. – Vaseline

The range consists of 4 different spray moisturisers – Dry Skin Repair, Cocoa Glow, Aloe Soothe and Advanced Strength. The 4 variations also come in lotion form if you prefer a more traditional application.Vaseline Intensive Care Spray (& Go) Body Moisturiser dry skin repair cocoa glow aloe soothe advanced strengthI am completely in love with this range because of how easy this product is to use as well as how well it works. If you’re a long time reader of the blog, you would know that moisturising my body is something I aim to do regularly but not something I’ve achieved as sometimes I’m just a little lazy and with the current Winter weather, it’s definitely a struggle but this product has made the process a lot easier.

Because of the continuous spray element, it’s quick and easy to spray just a line down each limb and across the whole body with just a light rub in needed to then work the product into the skin. The formula of the moisturiser itself is very light so the process of rubbing the product into the skin is much easier and faster compared to that of a traditional body lotion as it dries in seconds and just as promised, leaves no greasy or tacky residue on the skin at all which is wonderful as it means you dont need to sit around waiting for the lotion to absorb and can change into clothes instantly.

If I had to choose a favourite from the line, it would be the Advanced Strength as it contains double the moisturisers compared to the other 3 versions in the line and it’s also fragrance free, which ensures it doesn’t interfere with any perfume you wear. The Dry Skin Repair version has a light lotion scent, Cocoa Glow smells softly of Cocoa and the Aloe Soothe version has a lovely subtle aloe scent to it so whilst these do contain a fragrance, they are very light and and almost undetectable once rubbed into the skin.

The level of hydration this product line provides is great as it instantly leaves the skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated. This feeling definitely lasts the whole day so you can be confident that your skin looks and feels supple and hydrated throughout the day. As the Advanced Strength contains double the amount of moisturisers, it’s perfect for someone like me who may skip a day of moisturising as this version ensures your skin stays hydrated for longer and dont feel tight or dry, even on the second day.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser range is available at Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, Supermarkets and other Vaseline stockists for $9.99 each.

  2. I will basically never use anything other than a spray moisturiser ever again after being introduced to these – however I do find the high end versions (Chanel Moisture Mist in various scents, my fave is Eau Tendre – and Jurlique’s Sleek Body Mist) to be incredibly gorgeous also.
