Maybelline New York Dr. Rescue Nail Care Range – Review
Taking care of your nails is something I deem really important, whether you cover them up with nail polish or not! Maybelline New York recently introduced their Dr. Rescue Nail Care range which consists of 3 products: Dr. Rescue CC Nails Base Coat, Dr. Rescue All in One and the Dr. Rescue Gel Effect Top Coat.
The Dr. Rescue CC Nails Base Coat has a brightening and concealing formula that features a colour correcting treatment and optical brightener. The milky, light pink formula (which applies clear on the nail) helps combat dull or yellowing nails by whitening the nails and adding a gorgeous shine. The lovely smooth finish also creates the perfect base for any nail polish to be applied on top or you could even just wear it alone for a healthy, bright nailed look.
Dr. Rescue’s All in One is the perfect multi-tasker, being a base coat, top coat and nail strengthener. The brush allows for quick and easy application as the formula glides onto the nails and dries quite quickly. Whether you’re a bare nail lover looking for a bit of shine or a nail polish lover, this product is definitely one you will get a lot of use out of.
If you’re like me and love a glossy finish on your nails, the Dr. Rescue Gel Effect Top Coat is one to try. Again, this product applies transparent on the nail so there’s no need to worry about it affecting the colour of your polish and being a gel effect top coat, the formula is slightly thicker than a regular top coat so I like to leave a little more formula on the brush when applying to the nail. While delivering that gel polish look and feel, it also acts to help nail polish stay chip free for longer whilst also maintaining a glossy shine throughout the week.
The Maybelline New York Dr. Rescue Nail Care Range is available for $6.95 each from Priceline, supermarkets, pharmacies and other stockists.
