Clinique ‘Best of Clinique’ Holiday Set – Review
With it now being mid November, it may be time to start creating a shopping list of all the Christmas gifts you need to purchase this year so I’m sharing my thoughts on Clinique’s ‘Best of Clinique’ Holiday Set as it’s the perfect gift for any skincare lover and well worth purchasing a set for yourself because of the incredible value!
This particular holiday set comes beautifully packaged in a box and includes the following products:
• Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief 50 ml
• Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ 30 ml
• Moisture Surge Overnight Mask 30 ml
• All About Eyes 7 ml
• Foaming Sonic Facial Soap, 1.0 fl. oz. / 30 ml
• Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Super Strawberry 1.2 g
Retailing for $60, it is PHENOMENAL value considering that a Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief 50 ml moisturiser alone retails for $60. That means you’re essentially getting 5 very generously sized products for free and the inclusions are ones you’ll definitely use so I highly recommend snapping up this holiday gift pack!
The Moisture Surge line has to be my favourite skincare collection from the brand and I’ve tried both full size and sample size products from the line (including All About Eyes) before purchasing this pack. Having normal-dry skin, the Moisture Surge line injects both lasting hydration and life back into my skin. The creams have a lovely, light gel cream texture which makes it so easy to apply, allowing it to instantly sink into the skin to provide a moisture boost. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed, soft and supple all day long. If you could only try one product from the line, I’d suggest the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief or the Moisture Surge Face Spray.
The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ is a cult classic as it hydrates the skin without leaving any residue on the skin, making it perfect to use under makeup and a fuss free, daily moisturiser. The texture isn’t too heavy so it’s perfect to use in Summer too and I’ve used it on and off for years. Clinique also offer a gel version of the moisturiser for those with oily skin.
Trying the Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm for the first time, I was excited to see how it would balance being both a lip balm and a lip colour and I was very happy with the results. This particular shade is really easy to wear everyday and the balm provides a great level of moisture with a light tint of colour. The moisturising element does last longer than the colour so you can definitely layer lip products upon this one.
The set seems to have sold out on the Clinique website (where I purchased mine) so head to a Clinique counter or Adore Beauty to buy yours!
