L’Oreal Paris recently launched their 2016 Colour Riche Collection Exclusive line, titled La Vie En Rose. Each shade has been created with a L’Oreal spokesperson in mind and there were 5 lipstick shades launched here in Australia with some accompanying Colour Riche Le Vernis Nail Polishes too!
The shades include: Natasha, Naomi, Julianne, Doutzen and Eva, with each shade being a beautiful pinky-rose shade, ranging from an everyday nude to an electric pink! I really love the range of shades in this collection as they can suit a wide range of different skin tones and are versatile shades to take you from work days to weekends. My favourites at the moment have to be Naomi as it’s the perfect nude that isn’t too light, too dark or too pink or brown while Eva is the perfect evening shade without going too bold in colour!
The lipsticks come packaged in a stunning matte black bullet with gold accents and have a classic lipstick scent that isn’t overpowering at all. The formulation of the lipsticks themselves is really lovely as the shades produce a matte finish (with some shades having a slight micro-sheen) that isn’t uncomfortable or drying on the lips. The lipsticks are creamy and light on the lips which allows you to really build up the colour and coverage, if you wish.
I found the darker, more intense shades to leave a stain behind on the lips as the hours went on, which really helps with the lasting power of these lipsticks but overall, they lasting really well throughout a normal day of talking, eating and drinking with re-application only needed once or twice!
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Colour Riche Le Vernis Nail Polishes (I was obsessed with the shade Creamy Angora a few years ago) as they apply really nicely, have a glossy finish and lasts well on the nails. This collection features some lighter, nude shades that apply sheer but can be built up 2-3 layers for a beautiful creamy finish.
The L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Colour Riche Collection Exclusive is available from Priceline, Chemist Warehouse and other L’Oreal Paris stockists for $21.95 (Lipsticks) and $7.96 (Nail Polishes).
